Returns & Refunds Policy

At Pons Power Systems, we strive to provide accurate product information and quality electrical equipment. Due to the specialized nature of industrial electrical products, please review our return policy carefully before placing an order.

Return Eligibility

Returns may be accepted within 30 days of delivery only if:

  • The item was shipped incorrectly by Pons Power Systems.
  • The item arrived damaged in transit.
  • The item is defective upon receipt.
  • The item remains unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging.

A Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) must be approved before any product is returned.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return:

  • Custom-built or special-order products
  • Switchgear assemblies
  • Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS)
  • Transformers
  • Open-box equipment
  • Surplus equipment
  • Used equipment
  • Clearance or liquidation items
  • Products that have been installed, energized, modified, or altered
  • Freight charges

Open Box and Surplus Equipment

Many products offered by Pons Power Systems are sold as Open Box, Surplus, or Excess Inventory.

These products are sold AS-IS unless otherwise stated and may show cosmetic imperfections. Product descriptions and photographs are provided to the best of our ability.

All Open Box and Surplus sales are final.

Damaged Shipments

Customers must inspect all shipments upon delivery.

If visible damage is present:

  1. Note the damage on the delivery receipt.
  2. Take photographs immediately.
  3. Notify Pons Power Systems within 48 hours of delivery.

Failure to report shipping damage within 48 hours may affect our ability to process a claim.

Incorrect Orders

Customers are responsible for verifying part numbers, voltage ratings, amperage ratings, dimensions, and compatibility before ordering.

Pons Power Systems is not responsible for costs associated with incorrect product selection by the customer.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method after inspection of the returned item.

Refunds may be reduced by:

  • Original shipping charges
  • Return freight costs
  • Restocking fees of up to 25%, where applicable

Refund processing typically occurs within 5–10 business days after receipt and inspection.

Warranty Disclaimer

Unless specifically stated in writing, products sold by Pons Power Systems are not covered by any warranty beyond the manufacturer's original warranty, if applicable.

Pons Power Systems makes no guarantees regarding suitability for a particular application. Customers are responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal electrical codes.
